In order to fight radicalism and terrorism to its roots, the United Nations has launched a Sustaining Peace agenda. One important step taken from this big agenda is the involvement of young people as subjects of peace building. Of course, this step needs to be taken, because young people need to play an important role in the fight against terrorism and radicalism. Now, in order to support the agenda, Peace Leaders and Girl Ambassadors for Peace paid a visit as well as an audience to Komnas Perempuan and BNPT (Indonesia National Counter Terrorism Agency-NCTA). This is a small but important step we can take to place young people as subjects of peace.
